Disney has a rule for the character performers: when a kid hugs you, you do not let go first until the child lets go.
I think that’s inspiring and touching and we could go into it more, but I think the video does an amazing job.
When I first saw the video- it got me thinking: “what can I learn from this?”
Yes, I probably need to stick around longer in a hug, (I’m trying)
This is what popped up:
When you give an adjustment, not just an ordinary bone moving or a pop, one of those adjustments when you’ve made sure that the power is turned on: the one that brings you closer to God, where innate intelligence and chi and prana are flowing freely throughout the body.
That kind of adjustment.
You have to let them experience that moment for as long as they need.
Don’t rob them of the opportunity for them to experience their own innate power because you want to manipulate the next “thing”
A true adjustment holds space for someone to feel their own power awaken. In that quiet, sacred moment—whether it’s arms wrapped tight or energy flowing freely—something magical happens: a connection to something deeper, a spark of life that lingers.
We need to recognize those moments and allow them all the time needed to play out…whether it a hug or an adjustment.
